About Us
Baruch Hashem is a Messianic synagogue in the middle Rio Grande Valley exploring the Hebraic Roots of the Faith of Our Fathers. We believe in the King Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus) and also believe in observing the Torah. Established in 1993, Baruch Hashem is a member of the IAMCS (International Association of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues).
The question is often asked, "What would Jesus do?" Yet, the answer is really quite simple: Keep Torah.
Observing the Torah is really about adopting a Torah based lifestyle that reflects Yeshua to the world. Contrary to popular misconception, it is not about 'earning salvation' or 'working your way to heaven.' It is about love. All 613 commandments can be summed up in that one word love.
Our doctrine is simple: "Hear O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is One." (D'varim (Deu.) 6:4) "And you should love your neighbor as yourself" (Vayikra (Lev.) 19:18)
Our congregation is open to all: Jew, Christian, religious, non-religious, truth-seekers, the 'just curious', shy, outgoing, rich, poor, etc?
Baruch Hashem is about understanding the Word of G-d. We look into the history, culture, tradition, and language of the Bible to unlock the writings of Moses, the Prophets, and the Apostles! Come and learn how Biblical Hebrew can unlock the Bible, including the New Testament.
The most enriching experience in life is to worship the true G-d with all of your heart. When we give our entire heart, we connect to the Infinite. You are invited to come and fellowship with us as we seek the Lord with all of our heart, soul and might!
We do not support the following doctrines:
1. Any form of replacement theology
2. Two House/Ephraimite/Messianic Israelite theology
3. Sacred Name/Holy Name doctrine
4. Aviv barley reckoning of the Moedim
5. Lunar Sabbath doctrine
